I recognize this place! I really wouldn't know how to get back the sharpness. Maybe you could play up the softness...soft focus or slight gaussian blur? It would make it an entirely different photo. Worth a try?
It was taken at that wedding. Susie had a picture posted of the bride and her dad walking by that same opening that I really liked, but I think that she took it off.
I think that I tried almost everything with this photo- contrast, sharpness, brightness, etc. and nothing seemed to help. I'm sure that a big part of the problem is that I was using my little Minolta Advantix Camera instead of my Canon Rebel. We didn't have time to get more film on the way to the wedding so I improvised. I got some great shots from that day, but the print quality is definitely lacking.
I'm going to go back on to my program and see if I can try what you are suggesting. I looked on-line at the Photo Shop program that you and Susie have last night and it looks really great. I just might have to save up and upgrade!
Nice shot Sheila! The natural framing of the trees is very nice! About the sharpness, I play around with brightness and contrast and sometimes I try to multiply it and then take the opacity way down (but I'm not sure how to do tht in the program that you have). Was this taken at the wedding that we met you at? Kathy
