Coming back from Eilat a few days ago (September 7th) we drove along the Egyptian border part of the time and saw these maginificent sights, so well captured by you in this photo, Avi.

Hello Alison, you well described the image. it's an arid place with very few water placed above the Eilat Bay on the Red See. the colour's mountains are result of oxidize process with iron, copper & other metals. not far from it there is the ancient copper mines of the biblical king Salomon, nice place for visit... thanks for your attention, best regards, avi
