Hi Ivo,
This was late in the afternoon. I didn't have the polarized filter with me. It was taken while we were on the ferry from Tobermory on the way to Manitoulin Island. It was very neat to see the seagulls in flight. They would come from behind the ship to "catch" the wake of turbulence, and then seem to hover along (without moving their wings) as they slowly passed beside us and very close... the sight reminded me of when you see jet fighters in close formation.

Superb picture, Pierre. the way the subject is lit is wonderfull. Very crisp!
What time of day was this and did you use a polarized filter?
