About These two charmers were with their mother on the Metro and were very anxious to have their picture taken. (ISO 1600; 1/40 sec @ f/5.6; 47 mm; conversion using Channels)

Lovely double portrait, George. You captured all the fun of these kids on being taken a photo of.
Thank you for your kind comment on my Memories from Paris 31." You're right, of course, about the station. My mistake.
Best regards,
Rafi

Thanks, Richard. Owning a Leica was always a dream. They are a breed apart! I started out with inexpensive rangefinder cameras, and--like you--I much appreciated their silent shutter and positive handling. Now, alas, I have gone over to the dark side. No more Plus-X, Tri-X or Ekatchrome-Tungsten! But I am a re-born photographer--for better or worse. Thanks again.

This is just great, only you're supposed to shoot this with a rangefinder ? preferably, a Leica. If this ever becomes known it's hard to say what might happen. These little passengers became part of an excellent PJ shot!

what a model smile but with the joy of youth and happiness.

Excellent shot, and a perfect subject for B&W. Yes, the two heads behind really do add a lot to the photo, and I like the way you've caught the motion of the swinging legs.

Superbe portrait de ces gamins, fiers et timides à la fois; amusant de voir la différence d'attitude des deux.

Thanks, Carlos. We certainly were "engaged," but the little girl was in charge. I have nothing like your great sense of rapport with my subjects, but I do enjoy the spontaneity, honesty and sheer fun of exchanges like this one. I'm working on it. ;-)

Thanks, Susie, for your good comments. You're right--the boy was trying very hard to be cool.

Very, very, very good picture George! Suzie?s right ? the adults reference the children perfectly. And the kids are ?engaged? with the photographer, as they should be!
A fine presentation - large and generous. And you done justice to B&W gradation ? from absolute black to white and all the rest in between?
I like this - don?t hurt to say it again!

I love this. The b/w is perfect. I like the heads of the 2 gentlement in the b/g too. Gives the photo a reference point. He has a great expression. Trying not to smile? Classic!
