About Unlike the Carnavale Museum in a previous shot, the Louvre is very photo-friendly--to all sorts of cameras. The art and the people make most attractive subjects. (No tripods and no flash, though; ISO 800; 1/125 sec @ f/7.1;50mm)

Thank you. It was nice to see it in it's home. Sense of wanting to be closer.

I thought the same as Larry when I saw this painting in the Louvre, small painting, large reputation so one imagines it bigger. Great picture George, very nice composition and I like the other portrait in the bottom left corner of the picture frame!
Wonder what Mr Bell would have thought if he'd been told that his invention would be used to take pictures!?

The best I can do now, Antonio, is to show you this shot--from two years ago.

I remember I was there when it was in the old position not the new, very recently one like this; and I have to say this seems to be a better place with a least more space for people which want to see the smile; it could be nice with a tele effect having both the one in the phone and one real in two different layers with appropriate DOF
