Rob,
Living in Portland I have never seen the hill from that side in a photo. All the shots that we usually see are from the west looking east. Nice change of perspective. The colors are beautiful.

Hi Rob, Recognized Mt. Hood from the thumbnail. I like the composition, with the brown in the foreground; however, I might clone out the phone pole. I can say that we often get beautiful blue skies in Oregon. -- Naomi

Rob,Rob,Rob!
Very well done. I Love the details from this shot! If you look closely, You can see the wind whipping the snow up at the top of the mountain. I Love the deep blue of the sky, That makes the Mountain POP right out! I want a house right there in the middle of that field. I would be one happy camper. 10+++++++++++++++ Way to go Bro

V-cool. I learnt to snowboard there when I was 16 :) Love the rich colours, very much postcard worthy.

Crystal Clear is right. That deep blue sky is brillant. We don't get that down here in Los Angeles. There's usually a brown layer hovering about. The snow cap on the moutain is so beautiful. I can't stop looking at the image. Perfect composition. Foreground is perfect.

Thanks for getting back to me Brad...was concerned hoping that there was something wrong with my setup here. Wild thing was...It was reall that color...was really hard to believe looking at it. Here in DC you don't get that too often in the Summer months. Thanks again for looking!

Rob, When I looked at the image earlier on a different computer, there was a lot of graininess and a variety of blues in the sky. Looking at the image now, the sky is perfect...must have been an issue with the computer I was using. Sorry for the alarming comment.

Brad...what do you mean lost some quality in the sky? There is only blue sky in this shot; what does it look like on your side? Thamks for the compliment on the composition!

Great shot with good saturation. You seemed to have lost some quality in the sky while scanning. I think you focused on an appropriate amount of the foreground. Some would look higher than you have here. Well done.
