About This is the fire that we light every day. I sell it, Dan makes it. We make the molds, we fire up the furnaces. We pour the metal (in this case, Bronze). We yield the casting. We machine it to incredibly tight tolerances.

It becomes an integral part that is used in one of a variety of our military's unbelievable defense systems. Sometimes they are used in equipment that detects and defends. Sometimes (my personal favorite) it is used in a tactical weapon that vaporizes the bad guys.

A little balance is a good thing. It seems that so many are using this forum as a way to show how "awful" we are for defending our (and others) liberties. Here's a little taste of the other perspective. So when you wake up in the morning, and you have a job, and we're all still free, and can speak our mind.....thank the soldiers, and thank the little guys who melt the metal that stops evil.

Cheers!

~Brad

Thanks, Randy... Like you, I don't mind engaging in healthy and spirited debate. So long as the debate rises above "emotional reaction". Most of us are emotional, and all of us react; but a constructive exchange of ideas is difficult at best, when pure emotion is all that is offered.

Your thoughtful words are appreciated..

Hi big guy, fantastic capture of look and feel of fire and fury! Must be a blast(did I say that?) I can hear the roar, and the molten piece protruding tops it off. Also great 'about'. I have great respect for you being a stand up guy, seeing the bigger picture, and expressing yourself maturely and intelligently. As said in a movie, MANY of us are "mad as hell and not going to take it any more".
