Cool shot!!! Love the blue/white combo... super reflection, great angle and composition.... well done!!! Like what Hugo did with it, but there's one thing you might correct/change as well.... the horizon is slightly tilted.... a one degree rotation should do the trick.... ;-D!!!

Hi Greg, per attached the version I had in mind. What I did was rather quick and dirty, but for web uses, it works rather well: 1. Adjust the levels to make the white snow become white, and the dark tones more deeply black (image gets too dark in the sky and foreground 2. Copy the entire image onto a new layer 3. Set the layer mode to Screen (Image becomes alot brighter 4. Duplicate the layer 1 and and set layer mode to soft light. This pushes the contrast a bit.
With a bit more effort, the dark tones should be enhanced, I think, And I would work on the blue of the sky to make the tone of the gradient a bit more natural. (saturation and hues)
Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Hugo

Thanks for the kind comments Hugo. I just recently started using CS2 and am exploring the power of post processing. What specific post processing would you have done to enhance this image?
Cheers,
Greg

Even better and more impressive thant the previous one, but again I think it could use some postprocessing. Nice work, and interesting portfolio you have. Could perhaps share your thoughts and leave a few comments once in a while....
cheers,
Hugo
