Hi Tim,
Sure don't know how you manage to catch my eye with this subject matter!! But you've done it, I like this oil well against the awesome sky.

And a great title also!!

Nice work,
Have a GR8 evening/day,
Lori :)

Nice contrast between machine and Nature. Given a different exposure and/or some PS work this could have become a dramatic silhouette!

Ohhh Hugo, ya can't get anything by you.....I do have other angles but there were items in the way that you couldn't see in this photo. Also as I moved into a more interesting angle for the subject matter the sky in the back ground lost it's impact....so I had to pick the best of a difficult situation.
Thanks for being so observant.....keeps me on my toes

Hi Tim, Won't go into the artery of civilisation stuff and all, as I do find that a bit far feched in this case. The tones are very good, and I wouldn't expect anything less. The composition, IMO lacks a bit of creativity, the head on approach makes it a bit static, and the angle, althoug hwell chosen, is not quite enough to compensate that, I feel. In all fairness, I do think you can get more out of this subject.

Cheers,

Hugo
