About My last upload is a detail from this field.
My aim was DOF from near to infinity, and maximal detail. The 17-40/4L is my best lens, and I made a vertical stitch from three landscape RAW shots (tripod, circular polarizer, 1/125 f:8 to 1/100 f:8; ISO 100) with PanoTools, 16 bit TIF. Tonal adjustments in PS.

wow.. great perspective.. I love the colors as well, the sky is awesome...most people would pass up this scene thinking there is nothing to see but you definitely took a simple view and made it into a compelling composition... excellent work

Magnifique!!! Unbelievably beautiful place. You've captured so much in one shot here ... it's almost too much...lol. You could get two or three incredible landscapes/nature shots from this one. Bravo. Antonia

One just has to admire the beautiful flowers in the foreground and then follow what is almost a path through the flowers to far off in the distance. Every inch of the walk is pleasant and lovely. Maybe we can stop at the house for a drink of cool water before continuing on. It is a splendid picture.

My 'favourites' folder has very few entries, Carsten, but this one's gone straight in there!! You've surpassed yourself with this fantastic landscape!! My sincere compliments on an outstanding photo!
Best regards, Chris
P.S. It doesn't look at all tilted to me!!

Wow, that sounds like a lot of work for one shot Carsten; i normally just press the shutter!

The result is excellent though! the prespective is great and love the colour saturation.

Regards,
Ciprian

one of your best in my eyes. Absolutely beautiful, rich colors yet still very natural. Amazing detail in every part. I like those kind of landscapes that combine close up and horizon line.

Great shot with beautiful colors that goes well with the composition. I fell as if i'm accually walkimg through the fields. Just curious what it would look like with a little more sky. Keep up the great work.

This is so beautiful Carsten, I love how you can seem to go on forever and the way you have made the flowers a nice bright leadin to the shot. Alison

Michele, thanks for constructive criticism ;-) Oversharpening, hmmm.... I don`t see the typical oversharpening artifacts around linear structures. It is just extremely full of detail, in the original shot you can identify some cows on the meadow near the horizon 8-)

i love this kind of photographs. it is a pretty combination of colors and a very relaxing composition overall. it just looks a bit oversharpened and a bit tilted to me; probably rotating between 1 or 2 degrees to the left would fix the impact. take care Carsten ;-)
