Wow thanks Cheryl - love it. Had tried to achieve something similar but with curves - hadn't thought of duotones. These trees are all in one little area and I haven't managed to find others so probibly over doing them but am enjoying the results. Much appreciate the help.

I love the trees you find to shoot! Nothing that interesting here...
I think for a more interesting "dirty" look (LOTR) you should try a duotoned approach. I think you'd like the results. I attached an example below...

This is marvelous, Greg. Perfect title. Your composition made me smile. Wondeful thinking to compose it this way. It sure looks like the tree is going to follow him. I really like it.
