Awesome photo, warm and tender. I can imagine this to be my husband and me not too far down the road. I find this very heartwarming and romantic. Carolyn

Margaret, thank you so much. Your version of the color was a lot better. I like the B/W too, so I guess I'll keep them both.:) My sister and I played with your aunt's picture, but didn't come up with anything fantastic. This UseFilm crowd is amazing in their helpfulness!

Suzie I like them both, but much I generally prefer colour, I wondered if a toning down of the colour might make a nice image as well, I had a play see if you like. These things are so special it is nice to try lots of things out and get opinions etc. I have so many variations now of my portrait of my Aunt I am confused LOL Margaret

Thanks again Toshi. I totally agree. Something about B/W isn't there? Not for every shot, but this one works well. Susie

I like this much better, Sissy! Apparently, so do a lot of other people! (The frame might be part of the reason. It's great!) Kath

hi Susie! very touching picture! the original has its interest, but i do preffer this BW version! here it seems to lead more directly to the point, to the idea of contact, touch, feeling - at least for me! sometimes the colors can distract the eye and weaken the image's power.

Great composition - I too prefer the B&W version since it accentuates the character in the hands better. Wonderful shot Susie.

I love this photo. I do prefer the b/w, although I really couldn't tell you why...just do. Isn't it funny how hands can show so much emotion? This is really a beautiful shot.

Hi Susie :) I really like this a lot in b/w I think it is a lot stronger. I love the composition and the feeling that goes along with it... so much love, and strength. It takes a lot for two people to get that far together. :) :) Liz
