About	Teffen has a museum that is consecrated to German speaking Jewish immigrants. Among its exhibits is this cast-iron statue of a suitcase striking roots, symbol of the Wandering Jew finally finding a homeland. I put the photo in the "Home" project, as symbol of the Wandering Jew finding a home and in the "travel" category again as symbol of the suitcase and what it used to stand for.

Without the about dear Rafi, I thought this rather spooky, but with the about it's very sad to know that this kind of thing actually happened. It's good to know that it's not happening anymore and that the roots have taken hold...a wonderful capture and a good to know piece of history...well done...:):)Linda

It's a poignant image Rafi. Even though I'm not Jewish it makes me sad. Not the re-rooting part but that people had to wander around at all. Thanks for sharing.
