Thanks David. Nikon does a great job with their TTL. The only real limit with the D70 is the built in nature of the flash not letting you alter direction or bounce, need to invest in a SB600 or SB800 and off camera TTL cable... Eric

I like the angle a lot. Gives it a very different meqaning than normal standing shots. I did a couple of those of my kids, too and I think it makes them look as vulnerable as they really are. I had three P&S cameras from Olympus and I was impressed with how natural the built in flash turnes out. Olympus really did their homework there. Your "stop now" photo is another good example for a very well balanced fill flash.
You daughter is definitely precious! :)

Mark, Thanks for the critique. If I decide to do more with this I think I will follow through with your suggestion. There is actually a round pattern on the rug she's laying on that was supposed to surround her head. Unfortunately she kept moving around and you really lose the effect in this image, but of course this one had the best facial expression... Eric

I really like this image. The girls eyes are very powerful and its only after a while that your eye wanders and find the "precious" T-shirt... excellent work !
Todd.
