I can't argue with you there. My preference would have been E100VS but I just traded in my 35mm gear for the D70 about 2 months ago. I do miss the look of a projected slide but the potential of the controls in PS and the convenience of digital finally convinced me to go over to the Dark Side... I still have some older manual 120 and 35mm gear in the closet and a B&W darkroom downstairs but I'm afraid it's not going to see near the amount of use it deserves.

I don't know if you've ever delved into film (wet) photography, but this image would have made a super transparency using Velvia or Kodachrome.

Thanks for the feedback. With digital it's just so easy to play around. I guess it's one of those things where just because you CAN do a thing doesn't mean you SHOULD do a thing.
