John,

This is an exceptionally captivating image.
I find myself just having dropped everything and stopped what I was doing in order to look at it.

The gaze makes the man appear rather resigned and vulnerable, while the boy indicates that something excitingly bouncy is happening where the man is not looking.
There is a story here - a story of shopping and standing around between meals and looking in different directions while wanting something.

As with all your images that you exhibit here, you show great empathy for the people who pass by fleetingly.
