I know, Janice. I try a flower then go back to other things that seem to work for me better. However, I did post one--that is if you consider overexposed dandelions to be flowers. I actually like the look of the yellow in the yard. But then, we live in the country with no neighbours close enough to bother. However, I did learn about taking flowers in bright sunlight. Mary

Thanks Mary - No pressure, but I'm still waiting. Come on - you can do this, I just know you can. Of course, I still haven't had any luck getting something decent out of a newer Cybershot camera - so what do I know? Jan

Thank you Margaret. The peacock didn't move very fast, but he never stayed still. Tricky to photograph when you don't know what to do to your little camera to speed up taking the shot. Re Ken: Actually he couldn't believe I was using his after he got through looking at my portfolio. (He used the word "bemused")I have single blooms of what he had in a bouquet, so hopefully I will be designing something that will compliment all of them. Jan

What a lovely capture you have here Janice. Thanks for telling me about the bouquet you used for quilting. I hope Ken appreciates what an honour it is to have it used as part of a quilt Margaret

They are SUCH elegant birds and their irridescent jeweled colors are bewitching. Thanks for sharing.
