I actually read that before I got your request. I feel that the comment was wrongly worded and yet I can understand you getting heated.
But, I learnt the hard way when something similiar was said to me last year and I regretted what I did. Now, when I have a problem, I research the situation before deciding the correct way to fix it.
I think you both may have learnt from this and that is the only thing that can be done.
But don't worry....I would've been angry too.

This was a free pass between races,, Brothers Daren and Dustin Long. A "No Box" Pass. All out to see what they could do.. Daren 180mph Dustin (Inside track) 178mph. Neck and Neck and neck all the way down the track..
And yes, The blur has been enhanced in PS.. Not, "Computer Antics" though... I "make" images. That takes alot more than taking pictures. Now if you wanna debate this, do it in the forums.
FYI
Kodak E100G Canon 300mm f/4 L IS USM (IS Mode II) for panning f/8 @ 1/60th (Cloudy day) Carl Ziess Tripod w/fluid Head
BTW.. I have the same Minolta scanner as you. My suggestion is to get into some good color slide film. do Multi pass scans, 16 or 8X with your scanner. And get Photoshop.. It's a powerful photographers tool.

Hey Pat,
I know you?re going to hate this review, but you froze everything in time by using a very fast shutter speed, and then blurred the background with computer antics. The reason I say this is because no 2 cars ever reach the same speed at the same time. One will always be blurred, because you can only pan and focus 1 car at a time? I?ve done it, so therefore I do know a little. Although you did do a Great Job on the Capture. Correct me if I?m wrong, please?, or tell me how you did this? I do need all the help you can give me, as you well know!
My best regards,
Jr. Martin

Love that sense of movement again. Masterful panning, the cars are totally sharp, the track is totally blurred. Top marks (except I don't like giving numbers :)

Great shot Pat - well done. The blurred background and sharp cars convey the great sense of speed,
Cheers, Chris
