Ahhh, so warm a feeling on this chilly Dec. day. Thank you for the warm photo Pat. As usual, a beautiful shot and workup.

excellent image.. love the lighting and really sets the mood. the color and tones are nice also.. the image is not super sharp but I think it is better that way for this image..good work.. you have a nice style with your photos..

South dakota? been there many times... I used to live in Nebraska for a while...

thanks for your recent comment on my Night Walk photo.. as to the number of comments.. a few things, the first was a photograph that received photo of the day honors a while back.. it is not reflected on my current awards (not sure why... ) and is called Vertical Symmetry.. before that it was hit and miss for comments. But that image was crazy and the comments kept coming (still my highest commented photo).. I think that made my name more visible... the second thing is to comment on people's photos.. I dont comment to get comments... I only comment on photos that I like.. and of course I will comment on friends photos. The more you comment, the more people may look at your photos... and yes, the third thing is that it takes time to get recognized...

truthfully, I rather have a few heartfelt comments or helpful critiques than a 100 "nice photo" comments...

I think you have a nice portfolio and like I said you have a nice style so keep up what your doing :)
