A feeling, yes, and mysterious? the veiled effect creates a sense in the viewer as being twice removed even while looking a familiar scene? Antonia speaks of nostalgia? precisely!

Hi Thilo - 13 minutes in Ilfotec DD-X at 24 degrees C. Not supposed to push that film apparently (they only list dev times for 100 and 200) but it was what I had around at the time.

Hi Stefan,

it seems you got lost within my friends list. not sure how this happened, but I missed a lot of pictures from you. UF bug?

nice Holga one. the play with shadow and play works well. flowers and trees really work well with Holgas ;-)

how did you push the Delta?

best wishes,

Thilo

If it weren't for the car it could be the 1960s all over again. Great feel.

Great Holga shot... Lately I've seeing so many pictures taken by the Holga that I want one... :)

Excellent composition...

This reminds me of one of my childhood photos -- the ones that I treasure most are like this. The old cars, the outside play...BW Full of nostalgia. More. More. Antonia

A picutre straight out of the past.... this truly has an old time feel... gotta love the Holga!
Too bad that SUV in the back wasn't a station wagon from the 60's...

I got one for my birthday a little over one year ago now - and this is the first film through it, well actually the second but the first one I developed (another story) :-) It has the power to give you something special, but I have renewed respect for those who manage to make truly great photos with this camera.

And also you Stefan has a Holga? Me and a friend are going to buy... just these days! A virus are spreading over the world...in the middle of the electronic digital era :) Well, it?s a great Holga vision!

Thanks Dirck - light leaks gave it away, huh? Laughing about the creep-factor - definitely something that is missing in child photography by-and-large (although here is one that has it in spades: http://www.usefilm.com/image/23138.html). Maybe I should just have left the scan the way it was...

Cool Holga shot, Stefan (and this one really *is* a Holga!) It took me a minute to find the child's head in this, which definitely gave it a 'creep' factor that it probably doesn't deserve! :) Maybe you could bring out the plants encircling her feet a little more? I think it would add a nice balance to the brighter sky.
