Hello João - congratulations on you purchase! Assuming everything works well I think it seems like a fair price for the setup (not to speak of the value!). I was just out this morning with my RB67 - it is heavy but I think you will find it a wonderful tool for the kind of photography I see in your portfolio.

Hi Stefan, good luck with RB. I had one over 30 years ago and loved that the format was like using a 35mm on steroids. Rarely even used a tripod.
Beautiful for both headshots in the studio and models in a waterfall in Georgia, especially in BW.
Used to go bananas over the detail. Sort of the feeling I get with digital now.
I will have to find some of those negatives. Thanks for reminding me...
Happy Trails, Leora

Have a fabulous summer, and remember to check in every once in a while so we know you're not lost, fallen down a hill and knocked out by your 100 gazllion pound camera! Cheers Kim

The reason there are so many of these 20-35 year old cameras still around in pretty good shape is that most of them spent their life on a tripod in a photographer's studio. It is not *that* heavy, but it is not the kind of camera that one packs just in case...

it's been almost 3 months (not too much) that I held a Mamiya.I'd never realised that it was so heavy. I can see your arm's muscles :=) the lighting is very nice.

Yes this puppy is pretty heavy, especially if you add on the old-style prism viewfinder which weighs almost a kilogram just by itself :-)
