wow Subhash, this is beautiful, the colors and texture are perfect, I love the reflection, the lone girl sitting really adds to the shot.. well done...

Thanks for you comment on my hills of dreams, which I had to repost...

What a view! I kind of like the graininess. The reflections of the mountain range is hypnotic. Sometimes, when I want to lessen the grain, I use the Gaussian blur, but not all the time.

hmm... I didn't like what I'd done Subhash... but note that every time you save a jpeg it gets more and more like this... of course if you'r converted it to Tiff it would have been three times bigger.

It is jpeg Ian problem is the original file is too big ,no idea what to do just compressed to size ,but neat image i think is a good alternative ,hope to download & try in future ,thank you so much for the help ,cheers, subhash.

Beutiful Picture, so close to the moon in Tibet it looks lunar!
Only thought I have is that I see jpeg compression artifacts in the water, such as the slight halo around her head, as you work on it do you save as jpeg or tiff, if tiff you wont get such artfiacts building up, the more often saved the bigger they get.
It may only be something that occured as you compressed it to float on this site though :).
I thought I'd add sharpening to emphasise the noise but all it did was emphasise the jpeg artifacts.

I think this picture got less comments than it should be. The lighting and reflections are truly dramatic and beautiful, Subhash. Yes it's grainy, therefore I tried to remove it slightly with NeatImage. I hope you don't mind, my friend.
Cheers,
Hanggan

Dear Subhash, this picture very well captures the mysterious and holy impression of this place.
Me just returned from 5 months travelling in Asia. Also did stay two months in India and Nepal:-)
Kindest regards,
Helmut
