Thanks GG.
I actually got a light tent for product type photography. I am helping my mother in law sell some of her decopauge by photographing it for her and whatnot. We bought a kit, which came with two white lights and tripods. It also came with a black vinyl backdrop... so that is what I used here. I have a ton to learn about lighting and this was my first experiment using actual lights, rather than window light.
This one I used a flash, on the two that are more shimmery were taken with no flash.

Melanie, I like this one the best because it shows her eyes. What type of lighting and background did you use?

Beautiful portrait Melanie, I could tell even from the thumbnail that it was your make up style. Is this your sister? Kristin
