Sorry Tiff - your comment appears to be another one that never arrived in my in-box. Just got one from Opal that was posted May 10th. Must have been when usefilm was having all sorts of server problems. I usually respond to almost all I receive. Thanks for your comments. Jan

Too weird Opal - just now (9/16/05 at 10 am our time) got this e-mail that you sent on May 10th. Looking through the comments I see below, there are a number of them I appear to have not gotten. Thanks for the compliment! Jan

It is a beautiful colo.ur, Janice. I've bee nwithout a phone for since 2 nights ago, so am behind with my UF things.
You asked on my last picture if it rained. No. This was the Sun's rays shining through the clouds not long beofre sunset. There was no rain that day.

Gilberto - this rose is a soft greyed lavender with pink undertones. Have not yet really managed to capture its actual colors, but this one is close. Thank you for commenting. Jan

Thanks for your comment Robert. The rose itself is an odd shade of lavender, and I was having a challenge in getting the colors to come out true. The upload (except for resize and frame) was right out of the camera. Did not do any PS to sharpen or anything so sharp and clear is due to the auto macro focus setting I have on my little Cybershot. I did think about lightening it up, but decided to leave it alone. The actual petals on the flower are unusual and very thin - which may account for the paperlike look you are seeing. Doesn't look that way on my monitor, so who knows. Anyway I do appreciate your comments. Things to think about and consider. Jan

I like most of your other Mothers day images, but this one lacks something. Maybe the focus is too sharp/clear and the petals look paperlike. A little to dark maybe too, unless of course this is what you wanted.
