About We had a few baby mockingbirds in the yard this morning. I think their mom is trying to transition them out of the nest. I had to take this through the sliding glass door with a telephoto lens so I'm shocked it came out so clear. I cropped and sharpened in paint shop. I have a few more of these little guys I'll be uploading.

Cheryl,
Thanks for your kind comment. Glad you liked it! I love looking at these little guys head on like that becuase they always look so mad. I have another one of this little guy where he looks equally displeased. I'll post that sometime in the next couple of days.

I am ROFLMAO Laurie! I love the title - it's so perfect. This should be the new "Attitude" poster (like the Inspiration ones out there). Great photo - it made my day.

Laurie I laughed out loud when I saw this! He's definitely got attitude...wonderful capture of this expressive little character. I'm impressed with the clarity of this image taken through a glass window, and I love your title....:) Linda

Oooh... he is not at all happy!!! Great shot through the glass (in fact it'd be great not through the glass too!). Good colours and composition, well detailed and perfectly exposed... but the best thing is definitely the expression of attitude you captured! Well seen, well shot, well done!

Janice,
Thanks for your kind comment! :)

From what I've heard mama birds are very protective at this stage. She was keeping very close while her kids were in the yard. I didn't dare try to go outside while they were there. Amazing how something so small can be so fierce!

This is great - I actually laughed out loud! What a shot & perfect title - good thing you were behind glass - hubby and I and four children had to use a back door for 2-3 weeks until the babies had hatched, fledged, and were gone. Mama bird kept attacking anyone trying to get out the front door.
