Great colour and I love the angle Dave. My grandfather worked for CN for 40 yrs as an engineer and I have lots of old b/w's of him on the big steam trains.

I do like both, the most attractive is the angle shot which gave a well perspective look, the sky enhance the whole subject colour combination, superb. Saeed

Hi Dave!
We had the same subject today. :) Nice picture you got here.
That train was out of work also... so, it?s the same here in Brazil.

Thank you for your comment. :)

Hugs,

Nice Dave, I think I like the B&W better, it adds to the aged look more.

I love it in color Dave, it has such wonderful subtle changes in the colors. This close up shot is great and so beautiful against the blue sky. Alison

I like this Dave. I can just image riding in one of those bringing up the rear of one of those enormous freight trains you have in Canada. Having seen more modern trains climbing the grades alongside the Fraser River approaching Vancouver I can imagine it would have quite a hairy experience. The nearest I've been to being in one of these is the Caboose Restaurant at Banff Railroad Station. Marvellous food there!!!

Like the color version better Dave. The worn out paint and old wood really stand out. Regards--Bill Voizin

Great angle and colors here Dave. I have troubles with true reds on my fuji, like in flowers. It never seems to capture it just right. Is it just mine?

Hi Dave! Nice shot of the old caboose! Excellent colors and shadows! Looks to be around 3pm?Looks like some well worn wood on the sides of the old timer!

I like the perspective on this very much, Dave. The color is great and shows the weathering very well....but I still have a soft spot for the B & W. Larry

Great perspective Dave! The colours are faded on this car, but the memories this shot brings back are in full colour! I sure hope you do more shots in this yard!!!!

Yep Dave, I really like color the best, although BW does have its merits. My early years, all that was available to work with was black and white.

Thanks for comments on my cemetery pictures.
