About Subject: My first steps in middle format, taken on a Holga (Chrissie behind the cam). You may see some more Holga stuff in the future, as I really begin to fall in love with this cheap plastic box.

PS concept: Mild works on levels.

Honest feedback highly appreciated

Hi Hugo,

thx a lot for the honest feedback. I have to evolve my "style" with the Holga, so all I can say is: stay tuned for the weird stuff ;-)

I'm beginning to find out which settings or subjects are holga style and which are not.

take care,

thilo

Hi Gayle,

hey, I'm getting red! =)

thx a lot for making me a fave. and my guess is that you and your Holga (or Polaroid) will become great friends... you may create weird styled pictures without any use of Paintshop =)

Hi Thilo, very strong portrait, congatulate Chrissie for me...:) Your self confident and satisfied expression fits excllent with the low POV. The Holga effect, whith the rather strong vignetting is nice, and from what I've seen from the Holga, it's a perfect piece of plastic to get the moodiness and eerie atmosphere... Not so sure if that fits entirely with the nature of this "primary subject" and his expression (in this case) but the combination is very unusual and creative, to say the least....

Nice! I'm expecting quite a few untouched holga shots soon ....:)

Cheers,

Hugo

Wonderful result! The dark vignette is very nice--camera or processing. I was given a Holga, but I have been unsuccessful in finding film. After seeing this, I'll keep looking. ;~)

All the best,
--George
