Excellent wildlife image James, it tells a good story w/ the baby stayingg close to it's mother, and them both inquisitively looking over at you.

You might also like the Wimberly, Sidekick or regular, with the 200-400. If I remember correctly, the Wimberly folks recommend the full-up head for a 600 because they're so heavy, and even hint that a 500 is marginal with the Sidekick. But like I said, I'm quite satisfied with the Sidekick for my 500. So, you might want to see if anyone is using a Sidekick with a 600.

Excellent composition and a quality shot. James thank you for the comments and tips on the tri pod. The new 200-400 is a bit to heavy for my tri pod and I'm working on a new one. I had in mind the Wimberly , but now I will also check out the Sidekick. I look forward to viewing your Andean condors. Lee

Hi James, these lamas emerging on top of the hill with only the faint illusion of the slope in the background make this a truly fantastic shot. Very well timed and composed, top notch wildlife shot...:) Maybe the tones could use a bit more saturation, but that's barely necessary, and can be classified as a jealous kind of nitpicking.
Cheers,
Hugo
