Thanks Larry. Once again the sun has provided me with good colour.

Thanks Dave. I had the sun setting behind me which gave the natural glow across the rocks.

Thanks Kel. The aussie land can be very unpredictable as are the skies. But you probably know that already.....LOL!!

Thankyou Debarshi. It didn't rain whilst I was there so I am not sure if it finally came down.

Thankyou so much Steve. I too was a bit distracted with that shape on the bottom right but when I looked at different angles of cropping it just didn't look balanced. So I left it to see if others would find something that I missed.

Hi Judi -

Nice lighting - a well timed capture, I assume the sun was still out over your right shoulder - even though the sky is so dark.

The curse of only having 800x800 means some clarity is lost on the grasses (look a bit jaggy) - but the black frame is nice I think.

The rock and shadow bottom right seems a little bit distracting considering the very uniform nature of the rest of the rock - though I think a tighter crop (or one further to the left) would destroy the composition (which I like otherwise).

Good title (despite the obvious visual reference) - since there is a feel of calm with the grasses being so straight.

Nice :)
