About I didn't really notice the couple when I was composing this shot. More interested in getting the bamboo rails to come at the right angles. But they seemed to be having a VERY intense converstation as I passed. I'm glad you can't see their faces. This bargain-basement lens is also performing quite well... sharp and with good colour balance. Oh yes, do note the pink sky. This is only the second time I've noticed such a sky (on the morning and late afternoon of the same day).

The color rendition is very good, the lens to me as well, hard to say if there is any distortion. Good work Roger.

Thanks, Lara. I've noticed several pink skies like this recently. Strange, isn't it!

Yigal, I didn't notice them when I was taking the picture (which is just another in my series of "paths") but the guy was KNEELING DOWN and pleading with the woman as I walked past, so I don't think he and she would have liked to appear recognizably on the Internet. If they'd been recognizable I would have ditched the picture. Sorry I didn't make that clear.

Probably something is missing in this pic (a subject ?).I didn't understand from your explanation why this couple is seen or not in the photo.
