About For those who wonder whether the locks that served the 18th century network of canals that criss-cross England still work, here's one in the heart of London that obviously is still working smoothly.

Thanks for the return visit! If you are like me you will find the 11mm end of your zoom quite difficult to master--because it's so sensitive to the slightest deviation from horizontal. You can get seriously slanting verticals even when you don't want them. And exaggerated perspectives can become a cliche. Have fun! and when you are happy with 11mm, try a fisheye... Wow!!

hey roger, nice to see Camden Lock in action. In the beginning of this year i paid a visit to it, and few weeks later i heard it (partly) burned down. Im just glad to see now it is still alive and so sunny.
By the way thanks for your comment on my portfolio. I do indeed like the new Tamron 11-18 lense. Especially for architectural pics which i want to be better in.
All the best, Marco.

Yes, she seemed pretty happy. Here is a close up of her with (for me very rare) the zoom at the telephoto end of its range...

That answers my earlier question! Good detail. The lady on the prow of the house boat looks very pleased with herself.

Thank you, Zeev. I was rather pleased with this myself, and a bit disappointed at the lack of reaction. I find that in the two years I have been inactive, Usefilm seems to have gone downhill with many of the more able photographers having left. It's good to see you still around...
