This was late in the day about 1800hrs. The sky had turned very dark and stormy. I did lighten the image slightly with PS as it was very dark. I liked the wave action and his concentration. Would love some ideas as to how I could have done it better. I know I adjusted to Shutter speed but can't remember to what speed. :-(
Hi ALison, I think this should be the same tool bar as PS7 if you can read it, have put a mark where these tools are lasso,polygon and magnetic hope it helps Margaret
I like where he is lightened. I feel changing the backround makes it loose that dark stormy afternoon feel. I understand it was just palying for fun, Gives me something new to try. I can't find that magnetic tool thing.
Alison, I am not very good at the technical side of the camera, so am not the one to give any help, however I have played with the image, I have overdone it to show you the effect you can get. I use the magnetic tool to draw round the boy and did that as a layer. Then I brightened and sharpened him. Then the background layer I darkend and played with colour balance. As I say it is not a good change, but thought it might give you some ideas to play around with. Margaret
