You know I heard great things about the place from people who took the tours...Myan ruins and whatnot. I didn't take a tour ..we just got off the ship and started walking...well..downtown belize is NOT for tourists..it was basiclly like strolling through hell..and every now and then there was a palm tree or two. I will admit it was good for photographers..except I was with my mom..she was scared so I wasn't able to take many pics..I have one of her Waaaay ahead of me saying c'mon audra...c'mon we gotta go...back to the ship now...c'mon. I wasn't afraid..I mean I'm a city girl and I'm from Detroit..

Yes Audra, it does feel better to shoot with a quality SLR and you are right about the size of the prints. But as someone who has dragged a camera bag filled with camera, lenses, flash etc. across France and Portugal, I can tell you there are advantages to your little Kodak. And even though it is limited to 4x6 prints, do you really need any more to fuel your memories? Better to have the little camera ready, than to wish you hadn't left the Rebel in your cabin because you were afraid of losing it, or it was just too heavy.

No..I guess your right..and thanks..I guess it just "feels" better to shoot with a nice camera..and as far as print goes 6.3 megapix is far better than 2.0...I couldn't print this image larger than 5/7 ...and thats pushin it.

Very colourful and atgmnospheric. I'd love to see more Belize shots... What took you there, Audra? I once knew a British army officer who was stationed there, and felt great affection for it.

You don't need your "good" camera to take quality images.

Hey, your "Upload" was almost next to mine - cosmic I think. Belize City, weren't you talkin' about getting an apartment here? Looks fun - I've seen worse but that's the "kick" of traveling. Good shot, I like it . Spaz
