Beautiful portrait, Bea. You got the colors and tones just right, as is the composition. You managed a nice capture of a Mona Lisa smile. Well done!

Bea,
Yes its a TLR. It is the first 'Automat' version which is basically the same design used up to the end of production, without meter, of course. The seller sent me images taken with the camera that look fine, so hoping that its going to live up to expectations!
Photo below:
(as you can see, I'm excited!)

A very nice portrait that seems to tell a lot about the subject. Great choice of background. The crossed arms somehow fits right in with the large bricks. Ret turban makes the imace come to life too.

PS I finally won a Rolleflex off Ebay, and am looking forward to taking delivery of it. Hope to post some first attempts soon! Its a 1939 (!) Automat, but apparently still in good order. We'll see!

Regards,
Omar

The slight apparent squiggles upon the wall... initially suggested some loose threads...

Could you please explain the tiny points, 4 on the left, 2 on the right, withing the passe partout.

A handsome portrait, of one who clearly is used to the bother of cams and their clicks!

Hey, this isn't a Holgaroid! Great portrait, though! It reminds me of the time I took Betsy Johnson's portrait workshop. "Always include the hands." For a year, I photographed everyone with their arms folded in front of their chest. So you've done well! Your composition in the square is perfect once again. The matching lipstick and turbin color really make it pop.

Excellent portrait Bea. I really like the warm tone wich match her turban and lipstick. I also like her pose - it shows (me anyway) that she is proud and has a lot of self-confidence.
