Very beautiful image, I like the softness of this. I really need to learn more on PS. Thanks for your comments on my recent BW images. I think monitor calibration is very important when converted to grayscale and I need to get better at it. I am hopeful that usefilm users will help me adjust and learn! Regards, Bill C.

Interesting effect. I would say this is a very successful experiment. Yes it is very soft, probably too soft for some, but I think the effect wins over the actual portrait. What I mean, this photo more an eyecandy than it is a portrait of the actual girl. And I don't think this is bad at all. Very often the idea, the emotion that is transported is more important than photographic accuracy or any technical aspects (good or bad).
This photo works very good. The light is great and I also don't mind the loss of detail due to the high key effect.

This is really good portrait, I think light coming from above is not good gives a dark spot under here beautiful eyes and also you need same amount of light on both eyes in that type of picture, also framing is to tight and you need to give her more space under here chine,
hope this heave been a help to you icerock
