I like old wood and boats. I got one I visit and photograph sometime no snow but it does grow wildflowers in the spring out of it. Excellent capture and image.

You composed this boat beautifully in the diagonal line The absence of strong colors enhace these shapes, lines and textures An excellent image ! Regards :) Jan

It does look so forlorn Jim. The weeds in the foreground really give depth to the image. Nice one!! Den

Lee Thanks for the comment, however I didn't "use" the foilage in the forground ;-) I didn't want to slip down the hill to get to the back side. The snow was knee deep and I was on a foot path with tennis shoes. It was warm (kinda) and I broke through easily, something about weight and support. Spring os coming though, Chris had to take his sweater of yesterday, Don is reporting 60 degrees. So much for England and Arizona

Now I can see why you want winter to end. Great snow detail. Don.

I think your right Jim...this boat wont float anymore ..... The boat stands out very clear on the snow background and the snow looks very good with lots of shadows and detail. I like the use of the foliage in the foreground. Well done Lee

Sad story, Jim. We call it 'progress'! I hope you've got plenty of warm clothes. I had to return to my car part way through our walk yesterday to take my sweater off ~ and that's England, in February!! Best regards, Chris
