Great photo Manu, and another great passion of mine. Unfortunately though, it would take a long cast from Harrogate, North Yorkshire to find the sea !!

Many thanks also for your kind comment :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

Hello Manu!
I like this composition,it has a grand look to it!
The lighting is good especially on the fisherman.
The sky is kind of dull and mayby this would look good as a panorama, eliminating the sky? Then again it may lose that grand look.
Anyway overall I like this photo! Thanks so much for Your comments................JOHN

I think the compostion makes the image interesting. its different, with only just a part of the beach showing. The colour of the man's jacket and the direction hes looking in makes him stand out, and is a good contrast to the rest of the scene.

Hi Manu, the emptiness of the sea alone would not be enough to capture my attention for a prolonged time, but the addition of the fisherman does. It places the vastness of the stretch of water into perspective.

As to the composition, I think its the space on the left that makes me feel the image is a bit tightly composed on the bottom.

Very nice atmosphere, tranquil and peaceful, but with the tension of changing weather....

Cheers,

Hugo

I think the composition is fine, i like the small bit of blue in the sky, with that and the blokes coat in colour and the rest duller colours, i think it works well.
I agree with Verena about the beach, maybe a tiny bit more to even it out a little
Just my opinion!
:)

Hi Manu,

light is ok for me...
about composition, sky is fine...but I'm not sure about the small beach...could be a tad more...the wide view is needed for the wide sea...at least for me...

Cheers,
Verena

Very nice. I think the composition is fine as it is. Had you taken any less sky it would have cut out all your blue. I bet this would look good in bw also.
