great colors Dave,
I hope you don't mind a suggestion. but I find that this photo could be improved if you were to get lower to the ground and have some interesting piece of grass in your foreground, or something that happens to be sticking out of the ground. I find that the lead-in interest into your photo is flat and that a suggestion of depth by using your foreground better would enhance the overall impact of your already interesting focal subject matter.

Excellent shot, Dave. The sun gives it a wonderful glow as well as some great shadows. Beautiful scene.

Thanks so much for the attention you have given to my efforts this year. As a novice, it means a lot to have somebody of your talent take time to make comments on my work. Have a great new year and I look forward to seeing much more from you next year.

Wonderful, Dave. The light is gorgeous, the building is fantastic, and somehow the snow adds to the feeling of abandonment. Well done!

It doesn't look like that roof will support much snow this winter. A great feeling of isolation. You can just hear the wind howl.

Hi Rebecca, thanks for the comment! I use the 3 meg. size because my computer is old and slow and it's difficult to do anything with the larger sizes. I think the 6 meg is a little better, and when I upgrade my computer that's what I'll use.
Dave.

I love these old isolated buildings. I grew up in rural Kansas which is dotted with such buildings. My last trip back found nothing but a hole in the ground where my parents old house stood. There are still several building like this one. You did an excellent job of capturing that lonely forlorn feeling. Del.

Beautiful , warm colors and great composition and details. Do you take your pics on 3 meg size or 6 meg? Just curious, as I always use the 3 meg.
