A very expressive moment in all its silence on the foreground and noises and talks at the background. The sudden cut of the pair at the background should be avoided, I think, since they are both very elementary for the whole impression. Also, a very good separation of the protagonist against the background through selective focus, with perhaps some few overexposure problems at the ground in the forground.

Love the calmness and peaceful mood of the photo dear Dave.
The lighting is perfect, May be it needed to include little more space above the head of the guy in the backgroud (IMHO).
