Top stuff, but I don't believe you got off a bus to take this shot -they didn't have buses 100 years ago! The grain gives this shot a real aged look. Tou've captured a great pose too. Regards, Gary

Nicely composed, a vivid depiction of hand labor. But why so grainy? (I know, because grain is what she's separating--I mean film grain!)

Bahadir, Thanks for your suggestion and your kind words about my photo. I was on a bus (outside Cusco, Peru) and saw this woman out in the fields. I yelled to the driver that I must get off the bus .... and I ran as fast as I could so I would be able to capture the moment. I feel I was very lucky. Mark.

i guess this could be better if you d bend down on your knees a little bit and shoot but you shot at the exact desicive moment everything seems good the shadow and the wheat pieces flying ... congrats
