you've got that much ice on the water, and no snow on the ground :>( that's an unusual sight.... and what is a heron doing there? i've never seen one in the cold before. i like the colours, good work alison.
cold weather is also here in east china, but no snow (very little), sad to say.

Hi Rebecca, IBM was here in Stamford, but I think they moved up to Armonk, NY and we do have a big upscale mall downtown. Stamford id a big center for alot of companies GE being one of the biggest. Alison

Beautiful colors, crisp clean details..even the heron is sharp. Very well done. I've been to Stamford. Isn't that where they have that HUGE mall that's several stories? And an IBM plant?

A beautiful combination of abstraction in nature. I love the subtle separation of the foreground tree with the background and of course the bold strokes of white. Your photos just get better and better!
