This was a small Wedding in Napa on a vineyard....after the I do's- they hugged first-and then kissed. It was touching.....I especially like the pastors look of pure joy- he had known this couple for many many years....so really was happy to see them marry. It was great wedding to shoot....but difficult too. It was high noon, bright sun-harsh shadows, AND my first wedding. I took lots of pictures-many throw aways, but I learned plenty that day. #1 how HARD it is to be everywhere at once. #2 how important it is to feel involved in what you are shooting. This is the sameday I knew there was no other life for me than photography....maybe that is why this feels like the best photo in 2004 I have taken-because so much of ME went into taking it!
