Hi Debarshi,
I understand your point. Nice experience though. :)
In one of my pictures in Rocky mountain - The Chilling Effect, the temperature around was sub zero. I did not take my tripod and I found a very difficult time to hold tha carema steady with bare hands. We all come across these types of situations - and these experience and the story behind each photograph is a thing to cherish later when you develop your photographs and sit with a cup of hot coffee in your room to analyse the your own work :)
Thanks
Aurobindo

Actually the pavement on the left end there and another small canal opening is there right after the pavement. But I could have taken shot from a little wider angele by taking off my shoes and getting down , but at that moment the water was freezing cold.

Beautiful composition. Good work of rule of thirds. The boat in motion and the one parked shows the mood of the place that you just mentioned. But IMHO, the objects in the left side blocks the vision from seeing the vastly flooded street. Maybe only the blue boat and a pole would have been nice. But I certainly understand the situation you took this photograph. Overall I like this photograph. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shot here. you captured a great moment, with the boat coming past and the poles at the front and the beautiful buildings in the background.
