Emily, I like this image. I like it overall and I like it in its particulars, especially the pillowy grain and the way the light dances around and through it. And it's in that cloudiness that I see more the sense of an opium dream than I do one of festivity. However, in any sense it's a good picture. Good work again!

Hallo. I saw this one and more others photos of yours, I like your visual way, but it's not interesting if I like or not. I see in your way that you search to translate emotions into fragments of reality, and too to capture real things to put them into your soul, your "self" life. These imagines are difficult to explain to all people, photographers too, who shots only "sunsets" and coloured sunflowers doesn't like such a way of photoworking. Titles, I see, are "yours", don't help many times to understand, because in most cases you only know what encouraged you to shot.
No problem, I think, you must do what you feel, and your work, altough surreal and ermetic, is great for me.
I too love surreal, look at my website, a little poor bad thing, I'ld like to have your comments .

Thanks Emily....and yes red is my colour and i can see that there eally was a party with a all night long dancing, flamenco! ;) ;) ;) The lamps are those to use in a party as well. Yes of course I like it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hmm conjours up.. well for me sitting here in Aus where we woke to the first day of summer today and 33 degrees C as I was driving to work... it reminds me of balmy spring evenings, al fresco dining, and good food and good friend why because they look like chinese lanterns... meanwhile back at work it looks like this
