About i was out walking the other day & could see so many the spider webs like this - moist from the fog & with the little bit of sunlight glinting off the water beads. So amazing.

Wonderful details...
But maybe you could make your aperture f 22 and lower shutter speed. In this time all spider's web can be completely clear. Isn it? What do you think about this idea?

Congratulations...

this is wonderful, too, no doubt about it but - nevertheless - in my oppinion the first of this series is even more interesting cause it's mor unusual...i am sorry, but i am afraid my english is not good enough to write down all my thoughts about your photos in a unerstandable way...;-)

Of the two I like this one more, I think the contract between the sharp and the blurry is very nice

Up close we can see it for what it is...art and engineering so melded together that it does not matter but to look and admire. Very nice work, Jennifer. This is such a good example, too, of why it's appropriate to have only a little depth of field.

wonderful macro of the string of paerls on this spidernet. Well conceived and well rendered. Good work! Best regards Jorg and thanks for your gracious comments.

This is a fantastic shot. The water droplets are like pearls! Tones and colours create a very atmospheric feel, something sensuous, heightened by the DOF.

I agree with ali - more DOF would give better result here; like the details on the sharp part of the web

Jen you are such a rebel.....the DOF you have created in this one leaves me just a little uncomfortable. But then I see that this is your purpose and it is very effective in forcing me to look closer with an introspection that I might not have given this image under normal DOF conditions.

WOW!
I just wish your central DOF had been a little more toward the center or upper center of the frame..but...WOW!!

Lack of DOF and imbalance beween right area and left area, the left side distract the beauty of water drops on right area.....

cheers :-)
