About Just back from a week of excessive photography, eating and belgian beer. A fine combination.

Just ook a skeleton kit really as I was with non photographers who don't appreciate waiting around whilst I put up my tripod... so most of the shots were hand held at about ISO 800 to get a shutter of 1/20th or faster. The light really was bad so it's been a struggle to get anything "amazing", but should have a few decent ones to put up.

Brussles has it's highlights, the Grand Place is amazing, but it's been built up in concrete which spoils it and has an undercurrent from quite a large imigrant population - on the tube I was being sized up by 2 moroccons, so put your camera away or you may be mugged! Seriously.

On the other hand, Bruges (above) and Antwerp are a delight - beautiful architecture, friendly people, english speaking and beers to die for.

An excellent trip but probably need to get back on the old Atkins for a few weeks :-))

Fabulous landscape Ade, love the reflections and glad your safely back and not too damaged from all that terrible beer ;-)

Looking forward to the next meet whenever although this Sat is out and the following weekend I'm doing a 48hour amateur radio contest !

Best wishes,
Steve

Very impressed on the sharpness of the picture. Also find the lighting really makes this shot beautiful as well for the composition. It's a place that I could go to, to relax. Keep up the great work.

Very nicely done, Ade. I love how you composed the frame and converted to B&W. The reflection in the water is crystal clear.

While I am envious of the scenery, it's the beer that sounded the best!
