About
This one's a detail of the ever impressive Langdale Pikes. the one to the left is Stickle Pike; the one to the righ t is Harrison Stickle. Went up there when I was 11 - very impressive indeed. Details.... Taken on the way home on Xmas eve, sun really low in the sky, about 5 miles away from the hills with a 200mm lens, polariser and grad filter. Brought up some of the foreground detail in PS, though the colours are natural. It was FREEZING in the shade!

I love the cold blue against the warm background, lovely light and colour, Chris.

Fantastic shot Ade, well worth a little bit of shivering! Obviously you used a tripod to get such a sharp image, with all that shivering and all... :~} Have a great new year.
