During the Cold War, we labeled the Chinese communist government's control of human rights as something behind the "Iron Curtain".
Now that China became US' Most Favorite Nation. But the first thing that struck my vision immediately at my first landing in Beijing on June 4th, was a fence of carts. Coincidentally, today is the 15th anniversary of the Tienanmen Square event when The 27th People's Army opened direct fire to their demonstrators that ended up with some 7,000 deaths of innocent civilians and students.
Whatever history says, "Welcome to People's Republic of China".
