E' veramente bella, considerato anche il fatto che, oltre la tecnica, regala insieme a tanta bellezza anche un senso di pace e di speranza che non fa mai male!
Si, sono stata a Sesto ... forse dovrei ripassare un po' la geografia: non mi ero resa conto che ero dalle tue parti. Ma è stata una "toccata e fuga" e non sarebbe stato possibile un "contatto" ma ora che ho imparato la strada ... prima o poi mi faccio sentire! :-)

I like very much the lack of actual horizon line, the way how the water blends into the misty mountains. All major compositional elements are perfectly placed. The color tone is predisposing for very calm mood that perfectly matches the theme of this photo.

Spero di essere anch'io da sprone per Voi. (purtroppo riesco a collegarmi da internet solo da ufficio e diciamo non è il massimo per seguire con tranqullità l'evolversi del sito ma cerco di starci dietro) Torniamo alla foto: Sai cosa è che mi piace tanto di questa foto? e che paradossalmente ha un qualcosa di "fluviale". Uno scorrere lento ed inesorabile del tempo-fiume-lago con il simbolico caronte che scruta l'altra riva forse in cerca di anime da trasportare. Perfetto, poi, il confondersi dell'acqua col cielo. Da un senso di evanescenza a tutta la composizione.

Speaking of art, Roby. I never read comments before responding, but as I'm writing I can see you already have 133 on this since November 14, so my guess is that someone else has already told you what I am about to say. But this is my original thought: This is very artful. I love the sharp reflection and how the image gets softer towards the horizon. I love how you've placed the man and rig at the lower right with his gaze facing the view, which draws my eye from him out. This is a beautiful scene, and classically executed. The blue tone is wonderful. So now I'll tap "Add" and go see what other's have said! Bravo my friend. Toni

Che bellezza... l'uomo del lago è ritornato.
Non che la serie meeting Milano fosse noiosa, ma per il mio gusto molto al di sotto dei livelli a cui ci hai abituato.
Questa è un'immagine arcariana al 100%. Un'immagine con cui dissetare lo sguardo.

Robbie, it would be very good shot, but unfortumatelly you did not have good sun, so you have significat abberration arounf the slluette, I would recomment to reduce pritnes and manualy remove aperration (pixel by pixel).. I know I know.. this is pain.. :-)
