About Alright, this one has all three images sharp. Does this one work better? Or if you are not into this sort of image that OK, I realize it's not really a usefilm type of shot but I'm looking for some feedback. Check my first one out for a comparison if you'd like.

Mark, I love it! I love how you arranged and framed it, wonderful presentation. Love the three images independently as well! Great colors and tones. I'm going to have to study your work more closely. I just got a new Nikon D70 and I'm really struggling with it. Can't get white balance right, or colors right. I love your colors you capture. What kind of lighting do you use?

Hi Mandy,

Thanks for your comments, fun to read! I only have 2 lights to work with so sometimes I need some help in photoshop. In a nut shell..for this one I brought all three images into one file, used the clone tool to somewhat remove the obvious lines between the shots, then as you thought, I select my background using the color selection tool from the menu, then I add a levels adj layer and with the white eye dropper (lower right) I start clicking on the background until I get something for a white that I like. It's my favorite tool to give me better high key backgrounds.

Then on the mask for that I used the brushes and clean up areas on the model that I didn't want the levels to affect. After some other adjustments I then flatten the image, change the image size for my web purpose, usually around 600px max on the widest or tallest, duplicate that layer, unsharp mask it (for an 600px wide/tall image, I usually use 300 and .3 for the settings), then I mask out any skin that I don't want sharpened and set opacity so it looks nice, usually around 75% for the sharpened layer. I hope that gives you an idea of how I did this...

I MUCH prefer this version.
As for your typeography, I love it!
(I'd be tempted to kern the word in a little tighter, so the 'm' lines up with her bum. :)

Of your two "naomi" shots, I like this one the best. This is really nice, but the other one just didn't work for me, though I couldn't really say why.

I love this! Could you explain how you did this? Was it just on white background and you messed with the levels or what? I think each shot is valuable in and of iteself and when put together like this looks very professional and very eye catching. Love how you did the name as well.

This one works much better for me as the three images are so much stronger. For me, much better :)
